Chef Afruza teaches Ghugni / Bengali-style Chickpea Salad. Cambridge Cooks invites local chefs to the Library for a free cooking demonstration, followed by a tasting and Q&A with the chefs.

About the chef: Afruza Akther is from Bangladesh and has lived in Somerville for 20 years. Afruza come from a culture where every household traditionally cooks meals at home, and she values the freshness in the food she eats and serves. She started Niblle Kitchen's Nibble Entrepreneurship Program in 2019 and served two and a half years graduating. While she was there, she started her small business Bangla Adda.
