Be Part Of Mermaid Promenade At Cambridge Arts River Festival
Join us in the Mermaid Promenade that kicks off this year's
Cambridge Arts River Festival on the banks of the Charles River along Memorial Drive between JFK Street and Western Avenue on
Saturday, June 15, 2024.
The promenade will be a participatory community spectacle featuring mermaids, mermen, and many more water creatures.
All are welcome to join in the parade. Line up in costume and/or with props at Winthrop Park at Winthrop Street and JFK Street by 11:15 a.m. The parade will begin at 11:30 a.m. and go south on JFK Street, then turn east onto Memorial Drive, where the River Festival takes place, and travel through the festival to end around Corporal Burns Park on Flagg Street.
