Community Learning Center to be dedicated as The Alice K. Wolf Center

Hundreds of adult learners are filling high-tech classrooms with hope for a better life at the Cambridge Community Learning Center’s beautiful new home in Central Square, occupied for 75 years by the Cambridge Police.
This historical landmark has undergone a major “green” conversion expected to lead to a gold “LEED” certification by the US Green Building Council.
The dramatic transformation has incorporated the latest in sustainable technology.
Now in its 43rd year, the CLC offers free classes year-round for more than 1,000 adults learning English, studying for their GED, learning to read for the first time, getting ready for college or moving into the workforce.
