The following is a proposed agenda containing the items that the Chairperson of the License Commission reasonably anticipates will be discussed at the hearing:
Disciplinary Basha Café, LLC d/b/a Basha Café, Sarah Shabana, Manager, holder of an All Alcoholic Beverages Restaurant License at 26 New Street for alleged violations of M.G.L. c. 138 §23, Rules 14 & 32 of the Rule and Regulations of the Cambridge License Commission and Rule 3 of the Recommendations of the Alcohol CAP and Economic Development Task Force. This hearing is being held due to the owner/manager’s failure without excuse to attend the previously scheduled hearing on August 11, the investigator’s findings that the named manager was not on the premises on the occasions he inspected, and the presence on the premises in an apparent managerial capacity of an unlicensed and unapproved individual at the times of the investigator’s visits.
Application Dunster Street Restaurant Corporation d/b/a Dunster Restaurant, Peter Lee, Manager, has applied to transfer the All Alcoholic Beverages Restaurant License currently held by Irish Crimson, LLC d/b/a Kennedy’s on the Square at 15 Dunster Street. Applicant is also applying for an Alteration of Licensed Premise Description, Pledge of License, and Entertainment License to include music playing above conversation level and 3 TV’s/Video Screens/Film Projector Screens. The proposed hours of operation are 8:00am to 1:00am Sunday through Wednesday and 8:00am to 2:00am Thursday through Saturday and the night before a legal holiday. The proposed seating capacity is 90.
Application Middle East Restaurant, Inc. d/b/a Middle East Restaurant/Zuzu, Nabil Sater, Manager, holder of a Common Victualer License and Entertainment License at 472-480 Massachusetts Avenue and 2-10 Brookline Street has applied to expand the Common Victualer License into 10-18 Brookline Street. Said License if granted would increase the total capacity of Middle East/Zuzu by 350. The hours and Entertainment would remain as currently licensed.
Application JKFOODGROUP, LLC d/b/a Little Donkey, Jamie Bissonnette, Manager, has applied to transfer the All Alcoholic Beverages Restaurant License currently held by Kun Myung, Inc. d/b/a Takemura, Myung Ja Kim, Manager, at 18 Eliot Street. The applicant is applying for a Change of Location from 18 Eliot Street to 505 Massachusetts Avenue and an Alteration of Licensed Premise Description. The proposed hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. Thursday through Saturday and the night before a legal holiday.
Application T.T. The Bear’s Place, Inc., Miles Cares, Manager, holder of an All Alcoholic Beverages Restaurant License at 10-18 Brookline Street has applied to hold said license as inactive.
Application Jyoti and Rajnee Food Corporation d/b/a Subway, Arun Budhathoki, Manager, has applied for a Common Victualer license at 36 JFK Street. Said license if granted would allow food and non-alcoholic beverages to be sold, served, and consumed on said premises with a seating capacity of 0 and proposed operating hours from 7:00 a.m. until 12:00 a.m. seven days per week.
Application Chef Group, Inc. d/b/a Hana Sushi, Dao Li, Manager, has applied to transfer the Wine & Malt Beverages Restaurant Licnese currently held by Ardent Enterprises, Inc. d/b/a Hana Sushi at 2372 Massachusetts Avenue, at the same location. Applicant is also applying for an Entertainment License to include Audio Tape Machine/CD. The proposed hours of operation are 8:00am to 1:00am, 7 days. The proposed seating capacity is 48.
Application East West Bridge, LLC, Henok Yared, Manager, has applied for a Livery/Limousine License for 1 vehicle at 20 Lincoln Way to be able to do deliveries.
Application Numikoff Consulting, LLC d/b/a Pronto Café, Nodirbek Radjapov, Manager, has applied for a Common Victualer license at 645 Cambridge Street. Said license if granted would allow food and non-alcoholic beverages to be sold, served, and consumed on said premises with a seating capacity of 18 and proposed operating hours from 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. seven days per week.
