Entertainment

Not just a place to get books and movies, the Cambridge Public Library hosts free events as diverse as our patrons from lectures and film screenings to puppet shows. Check our calendar for details on special and recurring events.

Arts Boston, and The Boston Globe's Arts and Entertainment page are sources where you can find listings for concerts, readings, nightlife, theater and other goings on about town. If you prefer to spend your evening at home, Boston.com's A&E page also has local TV Guide listings.

The Harvard Film Archive and Brattle Theatre are local venues that screen curated selections of classic, independent, documentary and foreign films.

Cambridge is also home to the Tony Award winning American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.), the group behind the long running The Donkey Show, based on Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.
