The Department of Human Service Programs (DHSP) offers summer camps and programs to Cambridge children and youth currently in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Activities include art, sports, swimming, field trips, and more. All DHSP summer camps and programs are filled through a lottery process. The deadline to apply to the 2025 DHSP Summer Lottery application is Monday, March 3.
The Community Learning Center’s Bridge to College Program prepares students to take college level classes. Participants earn college credits and attend a weekly advising class that helps them prepare to apply.
Cambridge Works serves Cambridge residents between the ages of 18-35 who have difficulty finding full-time jobs due to limited work experience, a gap in their work history, legal challenges, or personal issues.
The Fuel Assistance Program helps income-eligible Cambridge and Somerville residents pay their winter heating bills between November 1 - April 30.
