The Week will kick off with a Veterans’ Day Observance on Nov. 11, at 11 a.m., at Cambridge Cemetery, a luncheon at 12 p.m. at American Legion Marsh Post #442, and a Town Hall at Cambridge City Hall at 1 p.m. Activities on during the week include acupuncture, guided meditation, fitness and nutrition tips, restorative therapy, art workshops, social gatherings, food and refreshments.
Veterans who served during the Korean War will be honored with the Ambassador for Peace Medal during a ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 11, at 1 p.m., in the Great Hall of Flags at the Massachusetts State House, 24 Beacon St., Boston.
