New AEDs have been installed in nearly every City of Cambridge athletic field, including locations where soccer, football, baseball, softball, basketball, tennis, and golf are played. In addition to an AED, each cabinet will also contain a Stop-the-Bleed kit.

The Cambridge Police Department announces the arrest of Jayven McNealy in connection with the October 6 shooting in North Cambridge.
At approximately 6 a.m. Tuesday, October 20, officers executed a search warrant that resulted in McNealy's arrest. McNealy was arraigned today in Cambridge District Court on multiple charges, including with Armed Assault to Murder, Aggravated Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Carrying a Firearm without a License. He Is expected back in court on Friday, October 23, 2026.
The City of Cambridge is pleased to announce the launch of a new Housing Development Dashboard, an interactive, public-facing tool designed to provide accurate, comprehensive, and up‑to‑date information on housing development across the city.
