Cambridge community bike riders

Ever notice that the City of Cambridge is shaped like a bow tie? Come see for yourself, at the 9th Annual Cambridge Bow Tie Ride on Sunday, September 25!

The Cambridge Bicycle Committee is excited to invite you on an easy paced, 12-mile tour through the city, starting at the Cambridge Main Library, 449 Broadway. Riders will meet at 9:30 AM for orientation and leave promptly at 10:00 AM. The ride will finish back on the library grounds, about two hours later.

Riders will be escorted by the Cambridge Police, who will stop traffic at intersections and hold lanes. Bike techs from Cannondale Sports Store and Urban AdvenTours will ride along to handle flat tires and other ride emergencies, as well as host tune-up stations at the library before the ride starts.

Following the ride, enjoy snack bars from Trader Joe’s, delicious fresh burritos from Chipotle, and hummus, falafel, salad, and pita from the Middle East Restaurant!

Like all Bicycle Committee tours, this ride is free of charge. Thanks to all sponsors for their generous support.
