At approximately 8:30 p.m. on July 11, 2013, a male victim sustained a non-life-threatening stab wound from an unknown male suspect in the area of Hancock and Centre streets in Cambridge.
The victim did not report the incident to police, but instead transported himself to the hospital and was treated for the injury. Hospital staff then notified Cambridge Police who responded to speak with the victim.
The victim reported that he and a female were walking when they came in contact with an unknown suspect who became aggressive and slashed the male once on the wrist. The suspect is described as a black male, medium build, approximately 6’0” tall.
The circumstances surrounding this incident are still under investigation, but Cambridge Police remind residents to always call the police if they come in contact with individuals who may be in need of assistance.
