At the completion of the motor vehicle stop, officers observed a Texas temporary registration on a motor vehicle parked in front of Pine Street. The attached license plate appeared suspicious and was investigated. As a result of the investigation, a resident of New York was summonsed for attaching false plates and having an unregistered motor vehicle on a public way.

Cambridge Police placed Edwin Nickerson, 24, homeless, and Keith Sanders, 60, 820 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge, under arrest for trespassing in violation of Possession of a Class B Drug and Drinking in Public City Ordinance Violation. Officer's observed both Nickerson and Sanders smoking from partially clear pipes with dark brown residue consistent with a pipe used to smoke crack cocaine. While speaking with Sanders, he began to drink from an alcoholic beverage in front of both officers. Nickerson and Sanders were placed in handcuffs.

While actively patrolling the area of Magazine at Green Street, Officers were flagged down by group of individuals. The victim and witnesses stated that Sheppard threw down the victim and punched the victim on the rear after the victim attempted to break up an argument.
