Cambridge Police responded to a Central Square business located on Massachusetts Avenue for a report of a glass door being damaged. After a quick investigation, Michael Hyppolite, 40, 55 Parkview Road in Waltham, was taken into custody after admitting that he punched the door and in turn damaged the business's glass door. Hyppolite will be charged with Malicious Destruction of Property Over $1,200.

Cambridge Police responded to the area of Erie Street for the report of a hit and run property damage. An investigation revealed that Christine Martins, 45, 337 Windsor Street in Cambridge, struck three motor vehicles that were parked. After she struck the vehicles, she fled the area. She returned to the area and officers attempted to stop her. As officers approached her vehicle, telling her to stop, she ignored their commands. After numerous commands to place the vehicle in park, she did but then refused to exit her vehicle and provide identification. After numerous requests to step out of her vehicle, Martins exited the vehicle. Martins was unsteady on her feet, showing signs of impairment. As she exited the vehicle, officers could see multiple containers of alcohol in the front passenger seat, which were both opened and sealed. Martins is being charged with OUI-Liquor, Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Leaving the Scene of Property Damage, Failure to Exhibit License, Failure to Stop for Police, and Drinking Alcohol from an Open Container in a Motor Vehicle.

Cambridge Police responded to Massachusetts Avenue after receiving a report of a motor vehicle crash between two motor vehicles. While on scene, officers identified Myjessica Hasberry, 29, 18 Adams Street in Taunton, as being the operator of one of the vehicles involved in the crash. Officers observed slurred speech, glassy eyes, and odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Hasberry. Officers also discovered open containers of alcoholic beverages inside the vehicle that Hasberry was operating and owns. After an investigation, Hasberry is being charged in Cambridge District Court with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor and alcohol from an open container in a motor vehicle.
