Cambridge Police summonsed a resident of Leominster to Cambridge District Court after it was discovered that he was operating a motor vehicle without a valid license while driving on Massachusetts Avenue. The operator was initially stopped for a hands-free cell phone violation and a seatbelt violation and it was subsequently discovered that he did not have a valid driver's license. The operator was also cited for unlawful disposal of trash from the motor vehicle (littering) after he threw plastic bottles and other trash on the roadway and refused to pick them up.

Michael Daniliuk, 57, 30 Griswold Street in Cambridge, was placed under arrest for Operating Under the Influence of Alcohol. Cambridge Police responded to the intersection of Broadway and Columbia Street for a report of a motor vehicle crash involving one motor vehicle and three motorcycles. After an investigation and medical assistance (three individuals went to the hospital), it was determined that Daniliuk was OUI and taken into custody. Daniliuk had several injuries and was taken to a local hospital. Daniliuk has been charged with one count of OUI and a Civil Motor Vehicle Infraction for Failure to Stop/Yield.

Cambridge Police responded to Putnam Gardens for a ShotSpotter activation. Officers with the Cambridge Police were initially unable to locate any ballistic evidence or victims. However, officers continued to investigate the situation over the weekend and were later able to locate two shell casings on a sidewalk on Magee Street. At this point in the investigation, there are no reported victims or suspects.
