Khari Ruffin, 20, 42 Mount Ida Road in Boston, and Bradley Prince, 20, 42 Mount Ida Road in Boston, were arrested after they attempted to purchase $300 in gift cards, and succeeded in purchasing $660 in gift cards with a stolen credit card from a pharmacy in Porter Square at White Street.

Cambridge Police responded to Mass Ave for a report of a pedestrian struck by a bicyclist. The pedestrian sustained minor non-life-threatening injuries to lower extremities and were transported by ambulance to hospital for medical evaluation. The bicyclist did not report any injuries.

The Cambridge Police responded to a Porter Square restaurant for a fight on Monday around 9:30 p.m. As a result, James Wright, 40, homeless, was placed under arrest and charged with two counts of Assault and Battery with a Deadly Weapon. In addition, a Somerville resident was summonsed for Assault and Battery. After an investigation, it was determined that an employee was struck in the head with a closed fist at least one time after a verbal argument in which he informed the parties that they could not sit outside his business. After being punched, the employee was struck by Wright from behind in the head twice with a guitar. As a result of the head strikes, the employee sustained a head injury and was transported to the hospital. The guitar was recovered and submitted as evidence.
