Upon further investigation, it was determined that a male party was attacked with a machete by someone known to him. The victim was transported to a hospital with lacerations to his head. A report was taken.

10/17/202209:06 INCIDENT22008080 TRAFFIC INVESTIGATIONS	AMES ST Cambridge Police witnessed a motor vehicle crash involving a bicyclist on Broadway. The cyclist was bleeding from his hand, but he refused to be checked by an ambulance and refused medical treatment. A report was taken.

10/17/202209:25 INCIDENT22008084 UNINSURED MOTOR VEHICLE C90 S34J	MASSACHUSETTS AVE A resident of Cambridge was summonsed to court after operating an uninsured motor vehicle on a public way.
10/17/202210:25 INCIDENT22008085 CRIMINAL HARASSMENT	JFK ST An employee from a JFK St business reported that an unknown white male has been harassing people as they enter the business. The reporting party stated this male has been seen outside of the business for at least two weeks. The behavior seems to have escalated over time.

10/17/202212:01 ARREST22008088 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Christopher Gonsor, 36, 3 Summit Avenue in Somerville, was arrested at Massachusetts Avenue on two warrants: one issued out of the Dorchester District Court charging him with Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License, License Not in Possession and Failure to Stop/Yield; the other issued out of the Cambridge District Court charging him with Possession of a Class B Drug.
10/17/202212:01 INCIDENT22008089 SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE / EOD INVESTIGATION	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Police and Fire were dispatched to Massachusetts Ave at Temple Street for the report of unattended bags. Upon arrival, the bags were investigated and cleared by CPD EOD and an owner later came forward.
10/17/202212:37 INCIDENT22008090 UNLICENSED OPERATION OF MV C90 S10	BROADWAY Cambridge Police summons a resident of Cambridge after he was observed failing to stop for a red traffic signal at the intersection of Garden Street and Masschusetts Avenue. While conducting the motor vehilce stop, it was discovered that his driver's license was expired. He was summonsed and charged with Failure to Stop and Unlicensed Operator.

10/17/202212:46 INCIDENT22008096 B&E MV / BOAT NIGHTTIME FOR FELONY C266 S16	PEARL ST A Cambridge resident reported that someone broke into her vehicle during the night.
10/17/202212:57 INCIDENT22008095 MISC. REPORT TYPE	PEARL ST Cambridge Police responded to the Pearl Street Library for a report of a homeless encampment and open drug use. Services were offered to the unhoused to which they declined. The Department of Public Works responded and the encampment was removed. A police report was taken.
10/17/202214:06 ARREST22008097 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	GREEN ST Emeka Egbuche, 63, 4 University Road in Cambridge, was arrested at Green Street and Magazine Street on warrants issued out of the Cambridge District Court, including charging him with Malicious Destruction of Property Under $1200, Strangulation or Suffocation, Intimidation of a Witness/Juror/Police/Court Official, Assault and Battery on a Person Over 60/Disabled.
