Cambridge Police responded to Gore Street for a motor vehicle obstructing a permitted parking space. It was discovered that the motor vehicle was uninsured and parked on a public way without a valid registration. The owner was mailed a citation for uninsured and unregistered motor vehicle and a criminal application was filed.

A Watertown resident was issued a criminal application for allowing a motor vehicle to be parked without a valid registration (Revoked) and current insurance policy. The motor vehicle was parked on Gore Street in Cambridge, which is a public way maintained by the City of Cambridge. The vehicle was parked illegally in violation of the posted street cleaning sign.

Cambridge Police responded to the Central Square department store on Massachusetts Avenue for a reported shoplifting in progress. Officers stopped a suspect matching the description given, across the street from the store. The suspect was observed by a Lost Prevention Officer selecting a case of Corona beer and exiting the store without paying. An officer found the suspect to be in possession of the alleged stolen goods. The suspect, later identified as Eric Rivera, 59, Somerville, was uncooperative, but eventually agreed to walk back to the store to return the stolen goods. Once at the store, Rivera continued to be uncooperative and refused to give his name and date of birth after being asked several times. As a result, Rivera was placed under arrest for Shoplifting by Asportation.

Cambridge Police placed Nicholas Cunha, 43, Charlestown, and Joseph Chapman, 41, Cambridge, under arrest for warrants and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Drugs. While on patrol, officers observed Cunha and Chapman trespassing inside of anATM in Central Square. Officers entered the ATM to advise both males that they are not allowed to camp inside the ATM. As officers approached, they observed 2 open bags of Crack Cocaine and other drug paraphernalia on Cunha's lap in plain view. Officers then conducted a search of both parties to check for more narcotics and in Chapman's possession were 10 individually packed baggies of Crack Cocaine. In Chapman's coat pocket was cash crumpled up in individual stacks. Due to the individually packed bags of crack cocaine and cash crumpled up cash in different stacks in Chapman's pocket, Chapman was charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Drugs. During the investigation, it was discovered that Cunha had multiple warrants out of Cambridge, Boston, and Lynn District Court and he was placed under arrest.

Cambridge Police responded to Gore Street for the report of a fight. The reporting party stated that a dispute over stolen property was occurring. After an investigation, it was determined that a Cambridge resident had threatened two individuals with a bottle of hair spray and a lighter. The Cambridge resident had also attempted to pull a knife out during a physical altercation. The Cambridge resident is being summonsed to appear in Cambridge District Court for two counts of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
