SPIRITS OF INSPIRATION: ANDROMEDA LISLE
Join us for a free opening reception on Monday, April 28, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Refreshments will be provided,
Cambridge artist Andromeda Lisle was commissioned for one of three murals to be installed inside the new Tobin Montessori & Darby Vassall Upper School Complex. Her mural design is being translated into a custom glass and ceramic mosaic.
Spirits of Inspiration invites visitors to explore the range of Andromeda’s artistic practice, which blends science and spirituality. Drawing inspiration from storytelling and indigenous animal mythology, her work spans a variety of media — from paintings to sculptures, drawings, and graphic design. The exhibition includes a preview of her upcoming mural.
“Science and spirituality are two sides of the same coin... just as they are irrevocably connected… so are we to the world in which we live.” — Andromeda Lisle
