Community Supported ArtCambridge Arts is pleased to announce the return of Community Supported Art, an award-winning program that operates much like an agricultural CSA share – with a clever twist! Instead of enjoying a harvest share, Community Supported Art provides an opportunity to directly support local artists by purchasing original artwork made by a neighbor, friend and member of the Cambridge community.

Community Supported Art shares are a great way to build or start an art collection with affordably priced work from local artists. Shares are available in three sizes: small (3 works, $150), medium (6 works, $300), and large (9 works, $450). Shares are limited and can be pre-ordered now for delivery or pickup in November, 2016. csartcambridge.com/shop

This year’s “crop” features small works from Mireli Books, Marcia Cohen, Estelle Disch, Melissa Glick, Linda Haas, Janet Malenfant, Margarette Mattos, Anne Plaisance and Deirdre Tao. Learn more about the artists at csartcambridge.com

Community Supported Art is program of Cambridge Arts: Creative Marketplace, a suite of programs designed to support a vibrant arts economy in Cambridge. Cambridge Arts: Creative Marketplace programs are supported by a grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council’s Adams Art Program.
