Sidewalk Poetry Contest: Get Your Words Immortalized In Concrete!

The City of Cambridge is seeking poems for its 2020 Sidewalk Poetry Contest. Winning poems will be imprinted into the fresh concrete of new sidewalks around the city beginning in fall 2020. 

Cambridge residents of any age are invited to submit one poem of their own work to the 2020 Cambridge Sidewalk Poetry Contest by March 12, 2020, at noon. It's free to apply!

TRA•VERSE, an exhibition celebrating five years of the Cambridge Sidewalk Poetry Program, runs from March 16 to July 24, 2020, at Cambridge Arts Gallery 344, 344 Broadway, second floor, Cambridge. Reception and reading on Monday, April 6, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The Sidewalk Poetry Program is a collaborative project of the Department of Public Works, Cambridge Arts, and the Cambridge Public Library.
