Cambridge Police responded to a single car crash in Porter Square. The vehicle struck the center median and became stuck. No injuries were reported.

WARRANT ARREST REPORT

BRATTLE ST
Colin Doherty, 32, 217 East Foster Street of Melrose, was placed under arrest for a warrant out of Cambridge District Court and B&E for a Misdemeanor. Doherty was arrested after officers were approached by a witness who pointed at Doherty as he was standing on Brattle Street and said that is the guy you are looking for. Officers had knowledge that Doherty had a warrant out of Cambridge District Court and approached Doherty and placed him under arrest. After Doherty was taken into custody, the witness advised officers that minutes before flagging officers down, Doherty just broke into his commercial building again. He stated that Doherty entered his locked building and approached him outside his office on the basement level. Doherty started to yell at the witness about throwing away his property. This placed the witness in fear of Doherty, and he fled to find officers.

Cambridge Police Department responded to Temple Street for a report of unwanted individuals. As a result, Marcus Pixley, 61, homeless out of Cambridge, was subsequently placed under arrest for five warrants.

Cambridge Police were conducting traffic enforcement at Mass. Ave and Brookline Street when theyobserved a black Volkswagen CC with no registration sticker and a plastic shield covering the license plate. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was identified as the operator by his Brazilian passport. This was the only identification the driver had and no license was found on record. The driver was summoned to court for operating unlicensed, no registration sticker, and an obstructed plate.
