DISORDERLY CONDUCT C272 S53
|
CONCORD AVE
David Bernier, 67, 54 Decatur Street in Arlington, was placed under arrest after a disturbance on Concord Avenue at a business. Police received a call for what appeared to be a homeless male in a parking lot of a gas station, throwing items on the ground and was in possession of a knife. When police arrived on scene, they observed Bernier in an agitated state throwing items recklessly causing a hazardous condition to passersby as he had broken glass bottles on the pavement. Bernier's erratic and tumultuous behavior was causing members of the general public and also employees of a local business to become shocked, alarmed, and afraid enough to call for police assistance. When Officers attempted to detain Bernier, he began fighting back and physically resisting their efforts. After a brief struggle, Bernier was placed in handcuffs and subsequently placed under arrest. Bernier has been charged with Disorderly Conduct, Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, and Resisting Arrest.
