Cambridge Man Arrested for Trafficking Drugs in Central Square
Cambridge, MA – The Cambridge Police Department today announced the recovery of 89.65 grams of crack cocaine in a Central Square residence. Cedric Ingram, 57, of Cambridge, was arrested and charged with trafficking more than 36 grams of cocaine, subsequent possession with intent to distribute, and drug violation within school or park zone.
After a months-long investigation into ongoing drug activity in Central Square, Cambridge Police secured and executed a search warrant in the 800 block of Massachusetts Avenue at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. The search warrant was executed without incident. The drug evidence seized from the residence is consistent with a street level drug distribution operation.
This arrest was the result of a long investigation by the Cambridge Police Department Criminal Investigation Section, assisted by the Family & Social Justice Section, with the goal of addressing drug activity in Central Square.
