This class is designed for people of all levels ot strengthen the muscles, the heart and the brain--all while having fun and moving to great music! Come as you are and take everything at your own pace. You will feel the benefits in mind and body! Registration for each session is required. This is a hybrid event, available online and screened at the Valente Branch. A Zoom link will be sent to all registered participants 1 hour before the event. Class will not be available at the Valente Branch on January 27th or February 3rd.

The Department of Human Service Programs (DHSP) offers summer camps and programs to Cambridge children and youth in Kindergarten through 8th grade. At these summer camps, children and youth learn new skills, make connections, and have fun! Activities include art, sports, swimming, field trips, and more. All DHSP summer camps and programs are filled through a lottery process. The online application process closes Sunday March 3.

Residents who are not eligible for regular unemployment benefits can now apply online for the new Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) program. The new federal program provides up to 39 weeks of unemployment benefits to those who are unable to work because of a COVID-19-related reason but are not eligible for regular or extended unemployment benefits. This includes self-employed workers, independent contractors, gig economy workers, and those with limited work history.

This will be a virtual public meeting to share information about the project; review the sites that we are planning for; and receive community input and ideas on future uses for these properties. We will cover similar content to our prior in-person meeting, but in an online friendly format. Central Square City Lots Study: The City of Cambridge Community Development Department (CDD), in collaboration with other city departments and the Cambridge community, is leading a municipal property needs assessment and planning study for city-owned properties in Central Square.

DePasquale will be answering your questions about COVID-19, the City’s response to the pandemic, and its impacts on the entire Cambridge community during a 30-minute show being produced by 22-Cityview.
