Fresh Pond Master Plan Advisory Board

The Fresh Pond Master Plan Advisory Board was created to champion the preservation and enhancement of the Fresh Pond Reservation's natural landscape and varied ecological, educational, and recreational values. Under the recommendation of the Master Plan, the Advisory Board acts as a supplementary group to aid the City in its efforts to implement the Master Plan. Members of the Advisory Board are appointed by the City Manager and must be residents of Cambridge except for those representing the City. At least nine Cambridge Residents must be members on the board.

The Fresh Pond Advisory Board meets quarterly to discuss on-going and future projects and programs at the Reservation. Fresh Pond Advisory Board Meetings are held at the Walter J. Sullivan Water Treatment Facility at 250 Fresh Pond Parkway in Cambridge. Members of the public are always welcome and are invited to voice their comments at the end of the meeting.
