Fresh Pond Reservation Plant List

Since the adoption of our 2001 Fresh Pond Master Plan, we have strived to establish native plant communities in every restored portion of the reservation. It is shown that native Massachusetts ecosystems protect water quality of Massachusetts ponds, lakes, and reservoirs best.

All plants selected in our plantings come from this 2019 approved comprehensive list.
