The College Success Initiative (CSI) is comprised of City, non-profit and higher education partners. It serves Cambridge students and families who are underrepresented in higher education, including American Born Black and Latino students, students of color, immigrant students, first-generation college students, adult learners, and students from households with limited incomes. The College Success Initiative is designed to support students in completing a post-secondary degree within 6 years.
Students are referred to CSI through Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, the Community Learning Center’s Bridge to College Program, and Just-A-Start’s YouthBuild program, and attend college classes at Bunker Hill Community College or UMass Boston. As part of the Initiative, students are assigned a College Success Coach who supports them throughout their academic experience.
The Initiative is comprised of City, non-profit and higher education partners.
