Hundreds of friends, family members and city dignitaries gathered in the Kresge Auditorium at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology last week to honor the admirable work conducted by sworn officers and personnel.
Nearly 40 awards were presented at the ceremony, which included the presentation of lifesaving awards to more than 30 different officers.
