BRISTOL ST
On patrol, an Officer was waved down by a man who stated he has active warrants. The Cambridge resident said he wanted to clear them up today. A check of the individual through our Emergency Communications confirmed the man had two active warrants out of Cambridge District Court for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest. Taron Clayton, 32, 19 Market Street in Cambridge, was placed under arrest for the warrants.

CAMBRIDGESIDE PL
Officers responded to the mall on a report of a male shoplifter. ECC updated responding units that a male was observed by loss prevention through CCTV surveillance removing a large shinny sharp object from his coat pocket. The male then was observed cutting all the security wiring alarms from a North Face Jacket at the men’s winter jacket section of a department store. He then took off his jacket, threw it to ground, and then put on the North Face Jacket. The male then walked over to a men's fragrance store, removed two boxes of men's fragrance and then placed them under his jacket. The male then exited the last point of sale and made no attempt to pay for any of the items he took. The defendant was stopped at the loading dock of a department store on Land Boulevard, and he was positively identified as the man who was observed taking their merchandise. Armando Ayala, 24, 2 Beachland Street in Revere, was placed under arrest for shoplifting.

Cambridge Police received a call for an assault in progress. Units arrived on scene and found a male unconscious on the ground with lacerations on his face and his teeth impaled into his tongue. At that time, other units located the suspect a short distance away from the victim’s location. A homeless man was summonsed for Assault and Battery with Serious Bodily Injury.

WARRANT ARREST REPORT

BIGELOW ST
Officers observed a motor vehicle parked in the bike lane with its hazard lights on in the vicinity of Massachusetts Avenue and Inman Street. It was discovered that the registered owner – Deandre Robinson, 26, 62 Alpine Street in Roxbury -- had a warrant issued out of Boston District Court for an Uninsured Motor Vehicle as well as no inspection for the motor vehicle. Robinson was asked to step out of the vehicle and informed that he had a warrant and he was being placed under arrest. Robinson was issued a written warning for having no vehicle inspection and having a faulty brake light.
