CARDINAL MEDEIROS AVE
Cambridge Police arrested Kenneth Walcott, 58, 29 Fairfield Street in Medford, for charges of Suspended Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Receiving Stolen Property -$1200, License Not in Possession, and Number Plate Violation. While conducting routine patrol, police observed a Volvo turn left from Broadway onto Portland Street and it was determined that the rear license plate was stolen and belonged to a different vehicle. A stop was conducted and the defendant was identified as the operator. The defendant did not have his Mass. license in possession, but provided his name and date of birth.

Cambridge Police issued a resident of Waltham a summons to court after a traffic stop for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License and Registration Not in Possession. Police observed the defendant operating his vehicle on Binney Street towards Fulkerson Street and it was determined that the owner's license status was suspended.

MEMORIAL DR
Cambridge Police responded to Memorial Drive and Pleasant Street for a report of a Breaking and Entering in progress of a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, Officers discovered a black Audi with a missing driver's side door handle and windshield wipers taken off the car and discarded on the sidewalk next to the car. While taking photos of the vehicle, an unidentified passerby informed officers that the male who damaged the Audi was just around the corner on Putnam Avenue. Officers then approached Putnam Avenue and found the male matching the description in front of Putnam Avenue with a wire in his hand trying to gain access into the passenger side door of a Toyota Sienna, which had damaged windshield wipers. The suspect identified himself as Robert Raven, however it was later discovered that his actual identity is Herbert Janvrin, 34, Newburyport. Janvrin was placed under arrest and charged with two counts of Attempt to Commit a Crime and two counts Malicious Damage to a Motor Vehicle. Janvrin was transported to the Cambridge Police Department where he was booked. The charge of False Information Following Arrest was added to the list of charges.
