Cambridge Police Investigating Shooting on Washington Street; Two Victims

The Cambridge Police are actively investigating a shooting that occurred around 8:18 p.m. in the area of Washington Street near Windsor Street. There are two known victims.  

Preliminary information indicates that the victims were shot while sitting inside a car. The car was damaged and a number of casings have been recovered. At this time, the injuries to the victims are serious, but not believed to be life-threatening. They have been transported to local hospitals after being treated on-scene.

There have been no arrests made at this time and officers remain in the area processing the scene and following up with this investigation.
