The Cambridge Police Department has officers embedded in Central Square working closely with residents and businesses to keep the community safe. The Central & Harvard Square Unit, in our Operations Division, is made up of officers who have well-established relationships with the people who they are helping. The officers also work with our Clinical Support Unit in the Family & Social Justice Section to help guide people to solutions instead of traditional prosecution. We put this report together to show you some of the work underway in the heart of the city.
