Cambridge Police Investigating Double Shooting in the Area of Donnelly Field
On Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 9:39 p.m., Cambridge Police responded to Donnelly field located at 91 Berkshire Street for reports of multiple gunshots. Two victims, a 23-year-old male and a 22-year-old female, were located and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Both individuals are Cambridge residents. The female victim was in the basketball courts and the male victim was found a short distance away on Willow Street. There were no other injuries reported.
Multiple shell casings were located at the scene. There have been no arrests at this time. Detectives are currently investigating the facts and circumstances associated with the incident.

Cambridge Police believe this was an isolated event, but we will be staffing the area with extra patrols out of an abundance of caution. Residents are reminded to call 911 immediately if they ever feel threatened or observe any suspicious activity.
