Cambridge African American Police Association (CAAPA) Participates in Cambridge Juneteenth Parade

On Wednesday June 19, 2024, Cambridge African American Police Association (CAAPA) along with other city organizations will be hosting a Juneteenth parade and celebration. As we strive to cultivate a culture of inclusivity and compassion, it is important to recognize that this effort starts with each of us individually. We would like to extend an invitation to honor and celebrate this significant milestone in U.S. history. This occasion provides a chance to not only reflect on the progress that still needs to be made but also to rejoice in the Black community's joy and togetherness. The parade is scheduled to commence on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 10:00 am. We will end at Riverside Press Park where we will have a few speakers, music, arts & crafts and JOY.

More information can be found here on the event flyer.
