Cambridge also recognizes September as National Recovery Month. Recovery Month emphasizes that recovery is for everyone: every person, every family, every community. The P.A.R.T.N.E.R (Providing Access to Resources, Treatment Needs, and Education for Recovery) Initiative is a collaboration between clinical social workers and public safety personnel to reduce substance misuse-related overdoses.

If you or a loved one need help or support with recovery, free and confidential help is available 24/7 through the Massachusetts Substance Use Helpline, 800-327-5050, or reach out to the P.A.R.T.N.E.R initiative through the Cambridge Police Department Clinical Support Unit at 617-349-9352 or pdclinicalsupportunit@cambridgepolice.org.
