Cambridge Police Swear-In New Officers on October 28, 2024

Cambridge Police welcomed four new officers and their families at a swearing-in ceremony on Friday morning, October 28, 2024, at the Cambridge Police Department.

These new officers bring a range of knowledge and insight to CPD with their combined experience in law enforcement and dedication to public service. Please welcome:

Matthew Cronin

  • Graduated from Wilmington High School in June of 2017.
  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Merrimack College in May of 2021.
  • Previously employed as a Police Officer with Tewksbury Police Department.

Jeffrey Gaudet

  • Graduated from Lynn Classical High School in June of 2009.
  • Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Westfield State University in May of 2013.
  • Served in the United States Air Force.
  • Previously employed as a Police Officer with Lynn Police Department.

Johann Marcalle

  • Graduated from Lynn Classical High School in June of 2016.
  • Served in the United States Marine Corps.
  • Previously employed as a Police Officer with Lynn Police Department.
  • Fluent in Spanish.

Alexander Wilson

  • Graduated from Melrose High School in June of 2012.
  • Bachelor of Science in International Maritime Business from Massachusetts. Maritime Academy in June of 2016 and Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
  • Previously employed as a Police Officer with Melrose Police Department.
