WHITE ST

Police responded to a report of shoplifting on the 0 block of White St. The reporting party claims that an individual had taken consumable goods from the store without paying for them and left the business. The responding officers located the individual suspected of shoplifting. Thomas Miller, 42, unhoused, was placed under arrest for possession of Class A substance and shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

Police investigated a motor vehicle that was acting irregularly on Massachusetts Ave and Douglass St. The investigation revealed that the driver was operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. The individual has been summonsed to Cambridge District Court for the violation.

Police responded to a report of breaking and entering on the 0 block of Oxford St. The reporting party claims that a group of unhoused individuals had broken into their storage locker and rummaged through their belongings. Further investigation showed that a set of lockers in the building had their locks broken and appeared to have been rummaged through. A report was taken.

Police responded to a report of larceny on the 400 block of Franklin St. The reporting party claims that an individual deposited roughly $10,000 into their account with the reasoning being that an uncle of the individual came into some money. Afterwards the individual asks for $6000 to be returned to her for medical reasons. Once the $6000 is payed back, the reporting party's bank account is reversed charged and now the reporting party's bank account is in the negative for approximately $10,000. A report was taken.

Police responded to a report of shoplifting on the 600 block of Massachusetts Ave. The reporting party claims that two individuals had left the store without paying. Police were able to locate one of the individuals and returned them to the store where they returned all the items they stole but were not able to locate the other individual. A report was taken.

Police responded to a report of a hit and run on the intersection of Walden St and Mt Pleasant St. The reporting party claims that the driver struck a city-owned tree, a traffic sign post, and themselves. Further investigation led officers to the individual responsible for the hit and run. The individual were issued a summons for negligent operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of property damage, and leaving the scene of personal injury.

Police responded to a report of shoplifting while conducting a directed patrol on the 500 block of Massachusetts Ave. The reporting party claims that an individual was caught not scanning every item they brought to the self checkout center. Due to this individuals status as a repeat offender, the business wants to move forward with charges and the individual was issued a summons to court on a later date.

HANCOCK ST & MASSACHUSETTS AVE



Police stopped a vehicle that was speeding at the intersection of Hancock St and Massachusetts Ave. Further investigation by officers reveals the driver had an open container of vodka in the center console of the vehicle as well as 21 perforated paper squares believed to be LSD. The driver will be charged with possession with intent to distribute, an open container violation, and speeding.
