CPD Assists with 2025 Hasty Pudding Parades

On Wednesday, February 5, 2025 Cambridge Police officers were on-hand to provide traffic assistance and crowd safety in support the 2025 Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year Parade. The Hasty Pudding is an annual event put forth by Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Theatricals, the oldest theatrical organization in the United States. This year’s honoree was Cynthia Erivo, perhaps best known for her role in Wicked.
In addition to Erivo, the parade included Ms. Massachusetts, along with numerous performers from various Harvard campus groups and the local community. CPD personnel from various units were on-hand to assist along with members of the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD).
Officers were also on-hand to support the Hasty Pudding Man of the Year event which was held in Harvard Sq. on Friday, January 31st to recognize actor Jon Hamm.
