Police responded to a report of breaking and entering on the 1600 block of Massachusetts Ave. The reporting party claims an unknown individual broke into their motor vehicle by smashing the rear driver side window and stole work laptops and and a phone. A report was taken.

Police responded to a report of two people smoking out of a pipe in an alleyway on the 400 block of Green St. Upon our arrival, officers saw four parties in the alleyway. The alleyway has a posted no-trespass sign, so officers informed the parties that they were not welcome at this address and were currently trespassing. All persons were identified and an inquiry confirmed that one had had an active warrant out of Woburn District Court. As a result, Dawn Trovato, 39, of Winchester Massachusetts was placed under arrest on the warrant.

Police responded to a report of threats on the 200 block of Monsignor O'Brien Hwy. The reporting party claims a guest that had checked out earlier in the morning had called the hotel stating a friend of theirs was on their way to the hotel to "cause a world of hurt". Officers came into contact with this friend and explained the situation. The friend stated that they made no such threats and that the caller made the false allegation in attempt to get them in trouble after they accused the caller of stealing their belongings. A report was taken.

Police responded to a report of a hit and run on the 0 block of White St. The reporting party claims they had parked their vehicle and left their spouse and child inside. While in the vehicle, the spouse observed a vehicle bump into their car and drive away. The spouse was asked if they or their child needed medical attention and they declined. Their was minor damage to the rear bumper of the vehicle.

The reporting party followed them until the vehicle had stopped and there was a dispute between the pair. A report was taken.

Police responded to a report of an abandoned motor vehicle with the engine left running at the intersection of Franklin St & Hancock St. Upon arrival, officers found the vehicle with the engine still running and damage to the right side of the vehicle. The vehicles registration came back stolen out of Medford.

Police responded to a report of a past assault with a dangerous weapon the 600 block of Massachusetts Ave. The reporting party claims they were at a coffee shop speaking with one of the employees. The individual and another customer got into an argument, when they turned around, the individual struck them on the back of the head with a metal cold cup.

Police responded to a report of shoplifting on the 500 block of Massachusetts Ave. The reporting party claims an individual had attempted to leave the store after only paying for half the items they had. The reporting party claims this is the fourth incident with this individual shoplifting in this manner. The shoplifter, a Cambridge resident, is being summonsed to Cambridge District Court for Shoplifting by Asportation.

Police responded to a report of a crash on the 200 block of Prospect St. Both operators refused medical assistance. When officers were listening to the statement by the one operator, they noticed a faint odor of an alcoholic beverage on their breath and glassy eyes. Officers asked to conduct Standard Field Sobriety Tests, which the operator refused. Following the interaction the operator, Joralbert Feliz, 24, of Jamaica Plain was placed under arrest and charged with OUI Liquor. A report was taken.
