Preschool Story Time (O'Connell)

We invite children and their grown-ups to join us for 20-25 minutes of songs, stories, and rhymes, with a craft to take and make at home, while supplies last. No registration is required. Afternoon Sing-Along (Main)

It's a Library dance party! All ages. This program can accommodate 130 people. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the program. XR Lab 101 (Main)

Extended reality (XR) opens the door to worlds and experiences outside the everyday through virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality equipment. Test drive our Microsoft HoloLens augmented reality glasses, Structure Sensor 3D scanner, Merge headsets, and more. Registration is required. Hive Safety Training

Are you interested in using The Hive? In this workshop you will learn about our makerspace, how to utilize the resources we offer and how to keep safe in The Hive. Find out what you need to get started as a maker in The Hive here. Completion of Hive Safety Training is the entry point to making, innovating, and collaborating in this space. Makers must also sign The Hive User Agreement and Waivers.

Story Time with author Sara Levine (O'Neill)

Join local author Sara Levine for a reading of her latest book, Sensitive (Lerner Publishing Group, 2023). This tender picture book follows a girl who is told she is too intense, too sensitive, too much. She's told to grow a thicker skin, but the words of others slip right through. They somersault around inside and press against her heart.

Visions of a Dream: Autistic Artists Interpret Martin Luther King Jr.

Korean and American artists on the autism spectrum produce their renditions of Martin Luther King Jr. according to their personal style and approach. On January 13, 2024, exhibit director Heyon Choi will present a lecture and workshop on exploring neurodiversity through artistic expression. Note: This exhibit can be seen on L2 during scheduled programming and events.
