Traffic, Parking & Transportation

The Traffic, Parking and Transportation Department oversees pub­lic parking and traffic operations in the city and actively promotes walking, bicycling and transit. Public parking includes promulgat­ing, signing and enforcing parking regulations; installation and maintenance of parking meters; operation of the City’s two parking garages; collection and adjudication of parking tickets; and opera­tion of the Resident Permit Program.
