      Just for you and the baby! Enjoy time together with other parents, caregivers and babies to learn, play, and develop language and motor skills. Designed for babies 0 to 18 months. Come prepared to sit on the floor one-on-one with your baby in your lap. This program can accommodate 15 babies and their caregivers. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the program. The entire party must be present to receive a ticket. This program starts promptly.     • Summer Reading: Reading with Rabbits from Land's Sake Farm (O'Neill)

      O'Neill Branch, 70 Rindge Ave., Cambridge, MA 02140

      Learn about the rabbits that live at Land’s Sake Farm. This program includes a rabbit-themed story time, learning about rabbit behavior and anatomy, and an additional program: a bunny themed craft, game, or movement activity. The highlight of the program is the Bunny Circle, where youth are able to touch and interact with a live rabbit. This program will happen outside. In case of rain or bad weather it will be inside the O'Neill Branch. This program is for children of all ages with a caregiver. Registration is required. When registering, please indicate how many children are attending. Adults do not need to be included in the numbers for registration. Funding for Summer Reading has been generously provided by the City of Cambridge, Cambridge Public Library Foundation, Friends of the Cambridge Public Library and Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners

    • Summer Reading: Evening Story Time (Valente)

      Valente Branch, 826 Cambridge St., Cambridge, MA 02141

      We invite children and their grown-ups to join us for a special evening story time event. This program will run for 25-30 minutes, with songs, stories and rhymes. No registration is required. This program will be held in the Community Room of the Valente Branch Library. Please call 617-349-4015 for more information.
