      All are welcome to attend the Cambridge Public Library's free outdoor yoga summer series every other Thursday starting July 11 until August 22. No registration is necessary. The Library will not provide any materials - please bring your own mat and whatever item is in your practice. Shayla Tate of M.U.D.D. Flower Yoga leads us through this 60-minute evening flow.

      Rain date: Wednesday, July 17 from 5:30 - 7 pm. ALDRA is a Somerville, MA-based performing and recording artist whose music draws influence from soul, R&B, and alternative pop. She captivates listeners with velvety tones, profound lyrics, and imagery to bring them on a journey through her life experiences. PARK SOUNDS 2024 brings free outdoor musical performances featuring local artists to the front lawn of the Cambridge Public Library Main Branch. These events are all-ages. Bring chairs, food, and loved ones to celebrate the summer! Funding is provided by the CPL Foundation. In memory of Janet Axelrod.

    • Summer Reading: Fun with Bubbles (O'Neill)

      O'Neill Branch, 70 Rindge Ave., Cambridge, MA 02140

      Join us outdoors to explore and learn with bubbles! We will blow bubbles of all sizes, make bubble wands, and play bubble games! For children of all ages with a caregiver. In case of rain or bad weather there will be modified activities inside the Library.

      Il Contrapposto is an early music ensemble and continuo team dedicated to traversing the more untrodden paths of 16th- and 17th-century European music. Performing on historical instruments, with historically informed performance practices, their varied and engaging live performances are a step back into the homes and courts of Renaissance Europe.       Come to the Library for games and a different activity each week! Kids of all ages can hang out and do crafts or STEAM activities. No registration required. This week we will celebrate the 2024 Summer Olympic Games by playing indoor and outdoor games.
