CPL Nature Club: Magazine Beach Storytime (Central Square Branch)

Discover a world outdoors with stories read by staff from the Central Square Branch of the Cambridge Public Library. This event will be held off-site at Mass Audubon Magazine Beach Park Nature Center (668 Memorial Drive).

Summer Reading: Outdoor Sing-Along (Main)

Join us for 25 minutes of singing and dancing in the sun! Sing-Along will take place in Joan Lorentz Park, to the side of the building nearest the Cambridge Rindge & Latin School. This program is for children of all ages and their caregivers. No registration is required. In the event of rain, this program will move to the Curious George Room inside the Libray.

Evening Yoga at the CPL (Main)

Main Library, 449 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02138

All are welcome to attend the Cambridge Public Library's free outdoor yoga summer series every other Thursday starting July 11 until August 22. No registration is necessary. The Library will not be providing any materials - please bring your own mat and whatever item is in your practice. Shayla Tate of M.U.D.D. Flower Yoga leads us through this 60-minute evening flow.

Summer Reading: Mass Capoeira (O'Neill)

Mass Capoeira's performance will uplift the spirit and expose audiences to the magic of Afro-Brazilian art and culture. This performance will happen outdoors. In case of rain or bad weather, this performance will happen inside the gym of the Peabody School. This program is recommended for children of all ages and their caregivers. No registration required. Funding for Summer Reading has been generously provided by the City of Cambridge, Cambridge Public Library Foundation, Friends of the Cambridge Public Library and Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners

CPL: Summer Dance in the Park

Want to add some new dance steps to your routine? Spend your mornings at Cambridge Public Library and learn new dances! In partnership with The Dance Complex, all are welcomed to this free outdoor dance class series. The class will take place in the park area in front of the library or in the Community room in chances of rain. Registration is not required.
