    • Summer Reading: Reading with Rabbits from Land's Sake Farm (O'Neill)

      O'Neill Branch, 70 Rindge Ave., Cambridge, MA 02140

      Learn about the rabbits that live at Land’s Sake Farm. This program includes a rabbit-themed story time, learning about rabbit behavior and anatomy, and an additional program: a bunny themed craft, game, or movement activity. The highlight of the program is the Bunny Circle, where youth are able to touch and interact with a live rabbit. This program will happen outside. In case of rain or bad weather it will be inside the O'Neill Branch. This program is for children of all ages with a caregiver. Registration is required. When registering, please indicate how many children are attending. Adults do not need to be included in the numbers for registration. Funding for Summer Reading has been generously provided by the City of Cambridge, Cambridge Public Library Foundation, Friends of the Cambridge Public Library and Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners

    • Summer Reading: Evening Story Time (Valente)

      Valente Branch, 826 Cambridge St., Cambridge, MA 02141

      We invite children and their grown-ups to join us for a special evening story time event. This program will run for 25-30 minutes, with songs, stories and rhymes. No registration is required. This program will be held in the Community Room of the Valente Branch Library. Please call 617-349-4015 for more information.

    • Summer Reading: Raymond Park Scavenger Hunt (Boudreau)

      Boudreau Branch, 245 Concord Ave., Cambridge, MA 02138

      Join us in Raymond Park for a scavenger hunt celebrating nature and the summer season! Search for plants, animals, colors, and even a certain friend you may have seen at the Boudreau Branch before. If you find everything on the list, you can have a special prize! No registration necessary.

    • Tuesday Teen Room Hangouts (Main)

      Main Library, Teen Room, 449 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02138

      Drop into the Teen Room any Tuesday afternoon this summer and enjoy a variety of FREE activities, from board games to video games, 3D pens, paper crafts, anime, and more. Or just sit down with a great book from our shelves. No registration required.

    • Summer Reading: Nintendo Switch Party for Ages 7-10 (Valente)

      Valente Branch, 826 Cambridge St., Cambridge, MA 02141

      Join our Nintendo Switch party! We will be using library consoles to enjoy multiplayer games. This program is for ages 7-10. This program can accommodate 16 gamers. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the program. The gamer must be present to receive a ticket. This program starts promptly, and any unclaimed spots will be offered to someone waiting. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Please call 617-349-4015 for further details.
