Innovators for Purpose (iFp) Studio is a teen-powered design and innovation program where teens channel their energy and creative vision to imagine and build a better world. Blending art, design, science, technology, and storytelling within a social justice framework, teens engage in real-world client-sponsored projects. Teens are invited to learn more and apply on the iFp website: Innovators for Purpose.
Innovators for Purpose (iFp) is a Cambridge-based nonprofit that inspires high-potential, diverse young people to discover their passions, develop innovative mindsets and cultivate marketable skills to solve problems they care most about. Summer Studio teens are funded in part through the Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program. The Cambridge Public Library STEAM Academy is part of Cambridge STEAM Initiative's efforts to enhance and expand students’ access to quality STEAM learning experiences. The Children's Room has plenty of LEGO pieces, so you don't need to bring your own. LEGO pieces are choking hazards for young children. For children ages 5 and up and their caregivers. Continue building your machine-sewing skills AND create bespoke sewn crafts! Learn pattern-making and create customized aprons and backpacks. This four-part series is led by fiber artist and designer Lenni Armstrong.

This class will teach you everything you need to know to brew delicious coffee using a variety of different brewing methods including, aeropress, V60, chemex and more! We'll cover the fundamentals of coffee brewing with plenty of guided tasting to help you understand what excellent coffee should taste like and how to make adjustments if your home brews aren't living up to your expectations.
Whether you are an avid home barista or just a curious coffee drinker looking to learn something new, this class will have something to offer!
This class will be very hands-on with lots of opportunities to practice your skills using commercial coffee equipment as well as some of the more accessible home brewing equipment.
