A Cambridge resident came to the police station to report that he mailed a check to a family member out of state but an unknown person(s) obtained the check and deposited it. The check was for a large sum of money.

MONSIGNOR OBRIEN HWY
Cambridge Police arrested one John J. Chisolm, 69, 11 Carlisle Street in Boston following a motor vehicle stop for obstructing the bicycle lane on a public way. At the time of the stop, Officers also located three active arrest warrants for Chisolm out of Roxbury District Court for Operating a Motor Vehicle With a Suspended License, Marked Lane Violations, and Failure to Wear a Seatbelt. It was also determined that his Massachusetts Driver's License was suspended. As a result, Chisolm was taken into custody for the warrants and is being charged with Operating After License Suspension and Blocking Bicycle Lane.

As a result of an investigation, Gonzales is being charged with Sending/Receiving Electronic Text Message While Operating a Motor Vehicle, Operating After Revocation of License, Possession of Ammunition With Out Permit, Possession of a Firearm With Out License, Possession Large Capacity Firearm and Possession Large Capacity Feeding Device.

Phifer was also charged with a single count of shoplifting by asportation.

Cambridge Police responded to Cambridgeside Place for a report of a shoplifter who just exited the store. Upon arrival officers approached the party in question, who had the merchandise which was taken from the store on her with tags and no receipt. After speaking with the department store the woman, a Boston resident, was identified and summonsed for shoplifting.
