After further investigation, Ivan AMAKER, 61, of Cambridge was placed under arrest for Shoplifting by Concealing 3rd Offense after put various clothing items into a duffle bag and left the store without paying. AMAKER had one active warrant out of Watertown. A report was taken.

While on patrol, officers conducted a traffic stop on the 300 block of Rindge Ave after an investigation revealed that a vehicles registration belonged to another vehicle. The vehicle the plate was attached to was uninsured and unregistered. As a result of the stop, Cambridge Police issued a summons for one count of Unregistered Operation of a Motor Vehicle, one count of Uninsured Operation of a Motor Vehicle , and one count of Attaching or Concealing Registration Plates. Police responded to a report of shoplifting on the 100 block of Alewife Brook Pkwy. The reporting party claims that an individual had stolen at least $300 worth of merchandise from the store. A report was taken.

Police were on patrol at the intersection of Hampshire Street and Portland Street. Officers performed an inquiry of a motor vehicle, which revealed that the motor vehicle in question had its registration revoked for insurance purposes; therefore a traffic stop was conducted. When requested, the operator of the motor vehicle informed Officers that the motor vehicle was not registered to him, but to a relative. As a result of the stop, the operator of the motor vehicle was issued a criminal application for one count of Operating a Motor Vehicle with Revoked Registration and one count of Uninsured Motor Vehicle. A report was taken.

An individual reported a shoplifting at the central square reporting station. The reporting party claims that an individual had shoplifted on the 600 block of Massachusetts Ave. Officers located the shoplifter and retrieved the items. As a result, the shoplifter will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for Shoplifting By Asportation.
