Police responded to the 300 block of Rindge Ave to take a report for malicious damage to a motor vehicle. Victim stated that they had parked their vehicle and when they returned they found a shattered rear passenger window.

Police responded to the 300 block of Pearl St. to take a report for malicious damage to a motor vehicle. Victim stated that two unknown individuals threw a brick at their car, breaking the rear quarter window panel on the passenger side.

Police took a report for a past breaking & entering on the 400 block of Massachusetts Ave. The reporting parties stated that their wallets were stolen from their vehicle. Their wallets contained their IDs, debit cards, credit cards, one of the reporting party's social security card and $145 cash.

While on patrol, officers conducted a motor vehicle stop for an observed violation on the 100 block of Western Ave. During the stop is was learned that the operator, an Allston resident, did not possess a valid driver's license. The operator will be summonsed to Cambridge District court for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and No Valid Inspection Sticker.

Police took a report for a past breaking & entering on the 200 block of Otis St. The reporting party claims they parked their car outside their home overnight and when they returned next morning, someone had gone through the vehicle. A variety of high end items with a combined estimated value of $6,100 were stolen from the vehicle.

Officers observed an individual, later identified as Garrett Decaluwe, 40, of Framingham, drinking from an open container of beer on the 1400 block of Massachusetts Ave. Officers subsequently placed Decaluwe under arrest for Drinking in Public.

Officers were unable to locate the individual in the area.

In addition, $10 were also missing from their wallet they left in the vehicle.

Police responded to a shoplifting on the 600 block of Massachusetts Ave. The reporting party claims an individual concealed a drink. Officers were able to stop and identify the individual, the stolen merchandise was recovered and the individual was formally trespassed from the store.
