    ALCOHOL FROM OPEN CONTAINER IN MV, DRINK C90 S24I
    BRATTLE ST
    A Harvard University Police Officer witnessed the defendant driving towards them the wrong way on a one way street. The defendant then attempted to reverse his motor vehicle and crashed into a city owned trash can. The Harvard University Police Officer then notified Cambridge Police of the accident. When Cambridge Police officers had the defendant exit his motor vehicle to perform standard field sobriety testing, a double-edged knife fell out from under his sweatshirt. The defendant then performed standard field sobriety tests which showed signs of impairment and he was subsequently arrested. Before towing the car an inventory revealed an open can of Mike's Harder Mango, a bottle Cointreau, and a bottle Malibu Rum. Jason Potter, 44, of Everett, was arrested for Carrying Dangerous Weapon, OUI-Liquor, Drink Alcohol from Open Contain in Motor Vehicle, and Improper Operation of Moter Vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle was summonsted for Operating a Motor Vehicle with Attaching Plates, Opeating an Unregistered Motor Vehicle, Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle and No Inspection Sticker.

During this incident officers were able to locate the suspect on the Alewife linear bicycle path. Tobias Chance, 24, Unhoused, was arrested for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Deface/Vandalize Property, Disorderly Conduct, and By Law or Ordinance Violation Drinking.
