    Police responded to a report of shoplifting on the 600 block of Massachusetts Ave. The reporting party claims an individual stole 4 bags of chocolate crackers valued at $22. A report was taken.

    MASSACHUSETTS AVE
    Police responded to a report of package theft in progress on the 900 block of Massachusetts Ave. Officers located the suspect matching the description given by the reporting party. Officers observed in plain view an unopened cardboard amazon package inside of an open shopping bag. Further search revealed a second Amazon package, with neither package bearing the suspect's name. The suspect, a Boston resident, will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for one count of Larceny from a Building.

    Police responded to a report of a suspicious party on the 300 block of Fresh Pond Pkwy. The reporting party claims they observed an individual checking the door of a vehicle and then heard a loud scraping noise. The suspect then fled on foot prior to the arrival of police.

    Police responded to a report of shoplifting on the 800 block of Somerville Ave. The reporting party claims a suspect stole a variety of merchandise valued at $304. Officers located the suspect, a Jamaica Plain resident, was identified and will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of Shoplifting by Asportation.

    Police responded to a report of an assault in progress on the 500 block of Massachusetts Ave. The reporting party claims an individual attempted to shoplift a variety of candy, sushi, and an energy drink with a combined value of $40. The reporting party attempted to stop the individual and return the items to the store. A partner of the suspect assaulted the reporting party by punching them four times in the face and slammed the reporting party's phone on the floor and wall. The phone and glasses are valued at $1450.

    Police responded to a report of shoplifting on the 100 block of Alewife Brook Pkwy. The reporting party claims two suspects had stolen various clothes and beauty products valued at $224. Both suspects were trespassed from the store and a report was taken.

    Police responded to a report of package theft on the 0 block of Chester St. The reporting party claims their package, containing a smart watch valued at $430, was marked as delivered. When the reporting party returned home they noticed it was stolen.

    Police responded to a report of identity fraud on the 100 block of Main St. The reporting party stated that a suspect has rented a car using their information and failed to return it. There have also been attempts to open a number of fraudulent credit card accounts using that information.

    Police responded to a report of leaving the scene of property damage on the 0 block of Garden St. the reporting party states they parked their motor vehicle and when theu returned it appeared that an individual had backed into the front end of their vehicle with their motor vehicle and fled the scene without stopping to identify themselves.

    Police responded to a report of a shoplifting in progress on the 600 block of Massachusetts Ave. Officers located the two suspects, identified as Danielle Tobin, 24, of Waltham and Chapell Fisher, 37, of Dorchester. Both were placed under arrest, Tobin was charged with one count of Shoplifting by Concealing, Fisher was charged with Shoplifting $250+ by Concealing. It was also learned that Fisher had 3 active warrants from courts in Cambridge and Dedham.
